Policy

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our employees.  Protection for employees from injury or occupational disease is a major continuing objective of ours.  Top maintenance work and incident prevention go hand in hand.  Great achievements are accomplished by investing in a properly trained workforce, safe-working conditions and by maintaining equipment in excellent working order.

To successfully achieve this policy, supervisors will be held accountable for the Health and Safety of all our employees under their supervision.  They will ensure that all trucks and equipment are in safe working condition and that their staff is at all times working in compliance with Safe Work Practices and all appropriate sections of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable Regulations.   These written Safe Work Practices are communicated to all employees and must be enforced at all times.  Failure to comply will result in corrective action.  These Safe Work Practices will be enforced by regular inspections of the workplace and meetings, which will be carried out by qualified personnel.  All employees will receive proper training for their respective occupations.  

Every employee must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures establish by the company.

It is in the best interest of all parties to consider Health and Safety in every aspect on the job and off the job.  Commitment to Health and Safety must form an integral part of this organization, from the management team to all of the employees.
