History

Nadin Contracting Ltd. is a leading general contractor and heavy-equipment rental firm located in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Since its establishment in 1983, the company has grown from two employees to over 50 employees with projects throughout Northwestern Ontario.

Approach

What started as a  two man operation based out of their mother's kitchen in 1983 has transformed into one of the largest private construction companies in Northern Ontario while still maintaining a culture built on traditional family values. Nadin has fostered successful relationships in the community with the City of Thunder Bay, Thunder Bay Airport Authority, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, along with First Nations communities, and Northern Ontario municipalities. We work very closely with all stakeholders to ensure that progress is made as efficiently as possible.   Nadin Contracting has acquired extensive expertise in the fields of municipal contracts, residential development, water management services, and project management.  Nadin's longevity is based on the ability to integrate change, and build stability in changing environments. The founders, Louis and Norman Nadin, have positioned the company to be recognized as one of the leading construction services companies in the region. The company realizes adequate management information is essential for supervisors to make informed decisions.
